What a fun group of ladies for an art party. Their social gathering started with lunch in our lovely art gallery. For this, they brought carry out chicken and some delicious home made dishes. I tried the spinach dip. It was fantastic.
After lunch we started on our glass craft project. I give a very quick demo to show how to cut the glass and cover all of the steps to make the dish.
It is very simple to make because you don’t have to cut the glass exactly. It all melts together in the kiln.
There were 25 people at this group event so we split them into two groups and used the main pottery studio for the glass party.
Pottery wheels and slab roller in the background. Lots of big tables work fine for glass too.
Now one has made one of these dished before. They are easy to make and because the glass all melts together, anything goes and every thing works.
